Remedies and Market Monitoring Working Group

The Remedies and Market Monitoring Working Group guides the effective and consistent implementation of remedies foreseen in the EECC and creates transparency through market monitoring. Therefore, it develops best regulatory practices, ensuring national regulators take a consistent approach to further developing the internal telecommunications market in Europe and national markets that are effectively competitive. The Working Group monitors the application of EU-wide regulations and works on data collection methodologies, such as KPIs to measure the progress towards the DDPP targets. The Working Group calculates the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) parameters to incentivise efficient investments into high-speed broadband networks with quality coverage, promote, and serve consumer interests to use fast internet access.
