Roaming Working group
The Roaming Working Group focuses on resolving issues related to roaming and cross-border communication within the EU and EEA (Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein). It closely monitors and guides stakeholders in complying with regulations that govern roaming on public mobile communications networks within the EU. The group also covers the framework about regulated retail communication within the EU.
Elisabeth Felber joined the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR) in 2007. In 2015, Elisabeth took charge of RTR’s international activities and since 2020, she has been Director of the Department of International and Corporate Affairs. Since January 2014, she has been co-chairing the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications Roaming Working Group, where she supported the legislative process of the Telecoms Single Market Regulation and the implementation of Roam Like At Home. In 2018, during RTR’s BEREC Chairmanship, she chaired the BEREC Contact Network.
Elisabeth holds a degree in Economics from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and has been working on competition and regulatory analysis for over 10 years.
