Klaus Nieminen – Open Internet

Klaus Nieminen is Chief Specialist of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom) and has 20 years of working experience in the field of telecommunication regulation and net neutrality. Klaus has had many different responsibilities from different technical regulations and recommendations to coordinating technical regulations and interpretations of publicly available telecommunications services. Klaus has also worked with universal service and broadband state aid and he has been responsible for building the national single information point service and running the national standardisation organisation functions. Klaus joined the BEREC Net Neutrality (renamed “Open Internet”) Working Group in 2013 and has been co-chairing it since 2019.
