Roaming Working Group

The Roaming Working Group focuses on resolving issues related to roaming and cross-border communication within the EU and EEA (Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein). It closely monitors and guides stakeholders in complying with regulations that govern roaming on public mobile communications networks within the EU. The group also covers the framework about regulated retail communication within the EU.

Ioanna Choudalaki joined the Greek Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT) in March 2005 and she has been working on, and managing, regulatory and competition projects covering market analysis, bottom-up cost modelling, investigation of anti-trust cases, mergers and spectrum valuation for almost 15 years. Prior to EETT, Ioanna worked for one of the top Fast Moving Consumer Goods companies. Since January 2016, she has been a drafter in the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications Roaming Working Group, where she supported the implementation of Roam Like At Home, and in December 2018, she was appointed Co-Chair of the WG.  

Ioanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics.  

In 2023, Ioanna served as Chair of the BEREC Contact Network.
